The Intermediate Dressmaking is for students who has completed the Beginner Course, most importantly able to sew. This course further teaches on pattern making, pattern drafting, cutting and applying student’s own design in the creation of their fashion garments.

Basic Bodice, Sleeve and Skirt Drafting

Tacking, Fitting and Alteration

Theory of Fabric Cutting

Signs used in Pattern

Drafting of Blouses – Shirt, Droop Shoulder Blouse, Cap Sleeve Blouse, Open Collar Blouse & Raglan Sleeve Blouse

Necklines & Collars – Shirt Collar, Open Collar, Frill Collars

Sleeves – Cuff Sleeve, Shirt Sleeve, raglan Sleeve, Tulip Sleeve

Darts & its Variations – Neckline, Should, Armhole, Bust & Waist dart

Skirt – Goard Shirt, Yoke Skirt

One-piece Dress – Princess line dress, High & Low waist dress,

Sundresses – Pleats or Gathers, straps, Bare Back Dress

Upon completion of the course, the school will offer certification to the students.
